Diamond is my 13-year-old soulmate who I am, as we all are, deeply and fanatically emotionally attached. He rode out horrible conditions for Katrina with me and I would never be able to board him. Nicole and New Orleans Pet Care have provided me with deep piece of mind that if he needs anything he will get it while I cannot be around. He gets midday walks during my 12 hour nursing shifts and special rides home from the groomer or vet in a pinch. She has even arranged the most profound care for my friend's ailing dog that is better care than I have seen given people in my Nursing career. Truly a blessing to the animal community of NOLA.

Sebastian and Maxwell

We were so fortunate to find Nicole and her wonderful team shortly after we moved to New Orleans in 2006. They are truly caring and professional people with a very obvious love of animals. We sometimes have to travel on short notice or for longer periods than we would like. Knowing that Nicole, Jessica, Sawyer, and Marci are looking after our two cats gives us such peace of mind while we are away. The notes they leave after each visit are so detailed and entertaining, and we always smile when we read them because they describe our cats' behaviors perfectly. We are grateful for all they have done for us and we recommend them wholeheartedly.

Our little girl Lovey LOVES going to New Orleans Pet Care and I could never imagine taking her anywhere else! They give her all of the snuggles, attention and playtime we give her, so that when we return from our vacations, she's a happy little doggie. Her social skills have improved remarkably because she gets to hang out with Jessica, GiGi, Nicole, Remy and the rest of the New Orleans Pet Care gang. Jessica even made her a little junior bridesmaid veil when we were away for our wedding! Because of New Orleans Pet Care, we can have a pet AND continue traveling.

With our busy schedules it has been such a relief to know that baby Gunner is having so much fun while we are away. Nicole and her crew treat Gunner like a prince and helped a very shy puppy become so brave that he now greets every person and dog with a smile (especially labs)! Max is my special baby. I work long hours and Nicole and her crew take awesome care of him. I used another service in the past and was unsure if they were even coming when they said they were. Everybody at New Orleans Pet Care leaves a very detailed note every day telling you everything that your baby did during the visit. They helped me pinpoint when he was having accidents and adjusted their visit times accordingly. Not only do they tend to his physical needs, water, food, and a nice long walk, but they also cuddle him and give him treats. I don't know what I would do without them.

Pumpkin, Leo, Opal; Fritos, Corn, Turnips

Thank goodness for New Orleans Pet Care. We have always had cats as part of our family, and at this time we have four. My husband and I have always loved dogs but knew they required a lot more work than cats. After Hurricane Katrina, I started volunteering at a local pet shelter. It didn't take long until I was begging to rescue a dog. My husband finally gave in, and now we have Leo and Opal, along with the four cats. It is so comforting having Nicole and her gang caring for my babies when we are at work and on vacations. I love coming home and reading the notes of their visits. It is great to know my pets are getting alot of love and attention when we are not available.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Nicole and her staff. My little boys are my family......not just pets. I never dreamed I could find someone to care for them, like I would, when I am gone. Being a hound of similar experience (Hurricane Charlie) I decided August 2006 was a good time to revisit New Orleans. New Orleans Pet Care was such a special retreat for me while my family enjoyed the treats of New Orleans! (It was difficult making reservations for me at restaurants each evening.) The TLC I received from Nicole will never be equaled and will never be forgotten. My Mom said meeting your family was the best part of the trip and a reminder of how wonderful the people are and the welcome always is in your great city! Remy, your family is now part of my family. Please call us before you plan a visit to the Sarasota area so we can get together. We'll hunt up some "cracker" rabbits.

I moved to New Orleans this spring for a new job and one of my top priorities, upon arriving here, was to find top-notch pet care for my furry "son" Nacho. I knew that my job would be demanding and require long hours at the office and fairly regular travel, so I was looking for someone to walk my dog during the day and take care of him while I was traveling for work or leisure. After interviewing Nicole and her team at New Orleans Pet Care, I hired them to give Nacho mid-day walks five days a week. New Orleans Pet Care has, at every turn, exceeded my expectations. For someone like me who works a lot of hours, it was an absolute God-send to have Nicole and her team not only walking my dog but also taking him to the vet for emergency visits during the work-day, picking up dog food and treats when I ran out, and standing ready to care for him if I had to leave the city on last-minute work travel. And then there are those "above and beyond" details that New Orleans Pet Care attends to... I still remember the second week I was in New Orleans, when Nacho and I were suddenly and frantically scratching ourselves head to toe from flea bites. I realized in the middle of the work day that I desperately needed to get my new apartment treated for fleas, but I was locked up in meetings and unable to hunt down an exterminator to treat my apartment. Desperate, I called Nicole for help, and within an hour, she had not only scheduled her trusted exterminator to treat my apartment that same day, but had also taken Nacho to the vet for a flea dip, and then met the exterminator at my apartment to let him in! What a life-saver! I would have been sunk without New Orleans Pet Care's professional, comprehensive team of folks attending to Nacho!"

We were delighted with the care, friendliness and attention to detail that Nicole and her team showed while looking after our three dogs, Pieman, Dino and Cowboy. Our pets were fed, walked and petted every day, and it was clear that the people at NOLA Pet Care really love animals. Our dogs were in great form when we returned after five days in their hands. They come to your house, meet your pets, make a note of any special requirements (diet, medicines, personality issues, walking times) and set up a mutually agreed schedule. They can also arrange to pick up your mail and turn lights on and off etc. All this left us feeling very reassured that everything would be taken care of, while we were out of the city. Ten out of ten!

I recently moved to New Orleans and I was very skeptical of boarding in a new city. I searched the web and found New Orleans Pet Care. Nicole and her staff went out of their way right from the start. They made me feel comfortable on my trip with phone calls confirming Chloe and Webster were doing great. And best of all, when I return home there is a wonderful visit by visit note describing their daily activities while I was gone. It is a great feeling to know that someone can care for your babies just the way you do!!

In the past I have had a hard time finding someone to care for my 12 year old Pomeranian with the same tender loving care that I would give her myself. She has a multitude of health issues. When I found New Orleans Pet Care I was thrilled. They have been extremely professional, dependable, and most of all, loving with my little Bella. I have felt completely at ease leaving her in their care when she needs a mid day walk, her meds administered, and some cuddle time. Nicole & Remy treat Norman like a king when he's "vacationing" with them. Now we can actually enjoy our trip & know for certain that he is happy! We have been thrilled with New Orleans Pet Care. Nicole and her associates are true pet lovers and are very knowledgeable as well as loving in their duties. We have entrusted our 6 month old Golden Lab Sadie to N.O. Pet Care on 3 occasions, and we have been totally pleased with each pet sitting job, whether it was for half a day or for 5 days. Needless to say, being sensitive to the emotional needs of the (human) client is an important part of the service and they get an A+ on that part, also. Their overall professionalism was very impressive, and we recommend N.O. Pet Care without reservation (but DO make a reservation in advance!)

Belle and Buddie

The storms in New Orleans really put a lot of stress on our babies between moving, a new home, and a new city. When we were finally able to move back home from Colorado we wanted our pets to feel secure and leaving them home alone all day was not the answer. It was wonderful to find Nicole, she came and had a consultation with our family. We (Buddy and Belle included) immediately felt at ease. I love getting home to the New Orleans Pet Care letter head with a little note about how the babies did that day.

Roxie

Our hectic work and travel schedules made us feel guilty about owning Roxie because we didn't want to be constantly putting her in a kennel when we go out of town. It's stressful for animals to be locked up with other strange animals- and cats, especially, almost always come back with upper respitory infections. New Orleans Pet Care has been so amazingly convenient for us. Their visits allow Roxie to stay safely at home in a familiar environment and we have the peace of mind knowing that she's getting all the care and attention she deserves! Seymour has been with us for over 15 years, so we wanted someone special to watch over him while we were out of town. Wow! You cannot get any better care than with NOLA Pet Care.
